Just ask my husband. He’d gladly confide in you about his pain of seeing cooking pots and pans destroyed by someone he loves…
Since my childhood, I felt pure resistance when it came to preparing food. Never really cared for it. Always buried in books, I found very little interest in anything kitchen/cooking related.
In a way, I still feel this way. I do not like (or know how to) cook. There, I said it out loud!
But…
My chronic pain (fibromyalgia,) depression, and anxiety had ganged up against me and gave me no choice but to start looking at a solution to my health problems (therefore the quality of my life in general) differently.
After countless attempts of trying to solve those problems through widely accepted methods that turned out to be ineffective (long-term wise speaking) no matter how hard I tried, I finally threw in the towel.
Typical of an underdog, feeling completely defeated I asked myself then: what if it was true? What if we ARE what we eat?
If that’s the case then it only makes sense that eating healthy, mostly raw food MUST lead to better health and a better life because of it!
Besides being rich in nutrients, raw fruits and vegetables also look bright and colorful.
They also say that “who (what) we are creates the world around us.”
Well, then BRIGHTER FOOD must equal BRIGHTER FUTURE!
